Discounts available on multiple purchases. All donkeys come with a new halter and lead, current on hoof trimmings, and if crossing state lines, also a negative coggins and health certificate. Our herd is on a 60 day rotational worming program, foals are wormed monthly and vaccinations kept current.

Gelding: It is my opinion that 98% of jacks should be gelded: therefore most of our jacks can be purchased with a gelding incentive discount.

Our miniature donkeys are very dear to us. Each one brings us much love, lots of smiles... and a few tears when they go. In my opinion, the hardest part of raising donkeys, is saying goodbye! That's why placing them in a good home with lots-a-love is a priority here at Furball Acres.....and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Due to health reasons, I have made the difficult decision to downsize more. Therefore, this is the opportunity to purchase jennies that I did NOT ever plan on selling! The three jennies below, Ellie, Jackie and Sami (Sara Casey), I would love to see go together, and will give a package deal on those three to the right home! These girls have had excellent care and were NOT over-bred, therefore, they are in great shape.

ALL donkeys are ADMS registered!

Ellie is a wonderful jenny, with great confirmation, good bite, legs etc. She has produced true jet black for me. Currently open, will breed on her next cycle to our black jack. Ellie is one of my favorites and a good, loving home where she will receive attention is a must. Ellie comes ot be haltered, stands for feet, loves being brushed etc. She is a very well behaved loving jenny and a wonderful proven producer of quality offspring.

Jackie is another favorite here that I hate to see go. She also has wonderful confirmation, foals easily is a great Mom and shares her babies (they all do). She also comes to be haltered, would put it on ehrself if she could! You can easily trim her feet etc, anything you ask she does, another very good girl that I am sad to see leave me. Jackie is currently open as she foaled in Feb 09. She is also a proven brood jenny, that foals with ease and is a wonderful Mom.

Foals sire is Merry-Go-Rounds Sir Booberry Creme (ivory).

Sami has always been a favorite to me and it breaks my heart to let her go. She is very special,as when I got her, you could barely touch her...now, you can't keep her stealing every halter or rope she can find, then brings them to you, begging to come out the gate..LOL She has excellent confirmation, proven brood jenny, foals easily, great Mom, great all a round donkey. Quality girl that produces quality foals. She is a half sister to SS Red Lightening (same dam)..Sami has old lines!

Katie is as sweet as they come, solid drafty jenny, and is pregnant with her first foal!! She is bred to Boo (ivory) and due March 9th!! Katie carries the ivory gene, as her dam is ivory, and her sire is a 29" black jack owned by Donkette Korral in PA. Katie is another I never thought I would sell...and I am reluctantly doing so...sigh....Pics above do not do her justice, she is a wonderful girl and would be an sset to any breeding program, she can produce both black and ivory, and of course gray.

Sire: untraced ivory

It has been an extremely difficult decision to offer my Casper, but I have kept his daughters and granddaughters, so he is related to much of my herd.

Casper is very drafty, has an excellent bite, heavy bone, rump l;ike a quarter horse and is just a wonderful boy. I trim his feet all by myself! He produces nice thick foals with solid round rumps, small heads, thick necks, good proportion etc. His price is temporary, so take advantage of it.
Pictures are just field shots; one is from earlier in the year when a maiden jenny was with hime for breeding (hence the muzzle).

Pixie has always been a favorite of mine and I hate to sell her. Pixie is a light gray dun, her sire is ivory and dam is dark brown NLP. Pixie is currently open, 4 years old and has her first foal by her side, Muffin. Furball Acres Muffin was born 8/26/2008, she is dark brown and her sire is Boo (ivory). Both Mom and foal have an ivory sire! These are two beautiful girls!!!! The pics of Muffin are from about 1 day old. These girls would be an asset to any breeding program, both carry ivory!

Merry Go Rounds Sir Booberry Creme
proven mature ivory jack
DOB: July 1st 2002
Sex: adult jack

Dam: Feather Ridge's Flappers dark brown
granddam: Feather Ridge's Paprika, dark red
    grandsire: LUA Mr Tee, black

Sire: Merry Go Rounds Mr Perlino ivory
    granddam: Merry-Go-Round's Dunkin, gray
    grandsire: LUA Mr Tee, black

Price: SOLD

Boo is an ivory, mature, proven, agressive breeder. He has produced black, brown and ivory for me. If your looking for a boy that you can breed to ivory and also breed to non-ivory jennies and NOT get dun, Boos your man. Boo does not produce dun, however, if you breed him to a gray-dun or brown-dun jenny, then that jenny can still pass dun to the foal. I have retained his daughters and will use one of his sons, so here's your chance for one of th eonly known ivories that do NOT produce Dun when bred to dark colors!!!!!!!!!!

Boo is 33 1/2", nicely built, straight legs, bite slightly off ( it is not perfect), healthy boy. Up to date on vaccines and worming. Again, Boo is a very aggressive breeder.

Furball Acres Boulder

    granddam:
    grandsire:

Sire: Lil Longears Casper ivory

    grandsire:

Here's a very special, solid built, tank of a boy...hence the name Boulder. His dam is a 30" ivory, and Casper is his sire..he has a perfect bite, great build, small wide head, solid rump...you can't go wrong with boulder. I prefer to see him go into an ivory breeding program, as he has way too much to offer to be a pet. 27 1/4" at 8 months old!
